A Vision For Something Greater
After 100 years of roasting, the course of Savannah Coffee Roasters would be forever altered. John Collins, a Georgia native, and his wife Lori moved from Brisbane, Australia to Georgia to be close to John’s family. With a passion for coffee and a vision for community, they knew that Savannah Coffee Roasters could be something greater. The pair found a dilapidated building on Liberty Street, seeing potential that no one else saw. John & Lori transformed the former auto-repair workshop into the beautiful site that Savannah Coffee Roasters now calls home. The café opened its doors in 2011, and the mouth-watering aroma of freshly roasted coffee has been wafting down Liberty Street ever since.
